One Week Prior to Lip Injections
• Avoid blood thinning over-the-counter medications such as Asprin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Aleve.
• Avoid supplements, including St. John's Wort, Gingko biloba, primrose oil, garlic, ginseng, and Vitamin E.
2 Days Prior to Injections
• Avoid topical products such as Tretinoin (Retin-
A), Retinol, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, or any "anti-aging" products.
• Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, or using hair removal cream on the area to be treated.
• Do start taking Arnica two days prior to the procedure. This is not required, but it will help to lessen bruising.)

• Do not drink any alcoholic beverages prior and no coffee on the day.

Yes, there is. You will be given written information about this when you attend your appointment. Please refrain from make up application for 24 hours. Avoid vigorous exercise and extreme temperatures for 5 days after your treatment. Bruising can last 5-10 days so do not have this procedure done less than 2 weeks before a big event of a holiday.

It is not suitable for patients under 18 years of age or those ladies who are pregnant or breast-feeding. You will need a detailed consultation if vou have permanent facial implants as sometimes filler cannot be used on top of certain prosthetics.
